3. Claims the shortcut uses Alt

Actual results:

The shortcuts should be displayed correctly.

Cannot reproduce with 2.17.92.

What does the shortcut (with super) look like in gconf?

Bug 165343 is not related.

/apps/metacity/global_keybindings/run_command_terminal
<Super>e

In Keyboard Preference the Alt/Win key behavior is set to "default".
Comment 3 Jens Granseuer 2007-02-28 20:23:18 UTC
You can't use shortcuts with Super as modifier (and in that case this is indeed bug 165343). It shouldn't use Alt as a replacement anyway, but it doesn't do so here, so this may have been fixed in recent versions.

Marking as duplicate.

What do you mean by "can't"? The shortcuts I defined that use Super as a modifier are functional.

If apps actually think Super is Alt on your setup, that's not really surprising...
