Description Pierre Ossman 2007-02-27 09:18:39 UTC
When there is a problem with one of the certs (e.g. it has expired), it is reported as just "unable to connect to server" which isn't entirely helpful.

Running openvpn manually shows the problem, so the information is there, it just needs to be shown in the frontend.

Is anyone maintaining this component? There are a whole bunch of bugs that haven't seen any attention for a very long time.
Comment 2 Dan Williams 2008-08-08 12:46:41 UTC
I am now... can you get some logs from openvpn (including maybe error messages and the exit value?) when this is the case?
Comment 3 Tobias Mueller 2009-02-23 14:31:21 UTC
Pierre, could you please provide the information Dan requested in comment #2?
Comment 4 Pierre Ossman 2009-02-23 14:56:34 UTC
Unfortunately my old setup is completely gone. On top of that, the bug is two years old so the behaviour will most likely be different.

Dan, if you cannot see this problem at your end then feel free to close the bug.

Thanks for your feedback, Pierre.
I am closing this bug for now. Feel free to create a new bug whenever you have found a bug!
