Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately, the stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Could you please help fixing this by installing some additional debugging packages [1], start the application as normal, and try to reproduce the crash, if possible? Once bug-buddy pops up, you can find the stacktrace in the 'Details', now containing way more information. Please copy that stacktrace and paste it as a comment here. Thanks in advance! [1] Please also install the following debug packages provided by Ubuntu: libglib2.0-0-dbg, libgtk2.0-0-dbg. More details can be found here: http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces
Hi prem, can you please answer my question? Would be great if you could provide a better stacktrace and help to solve this important bug (i suspect this to be a duplicate of bug 363289 which has many duplicates)? Can you also please attach /usr/share/icons/<THEME>/icon-theme.cache for the icon theme in use at the time of the crash, plus the icon-theme.cache files for inherited icon themes? Thanks in advance for helping to fix this!
it was actually a faulty RAM which made nautilus to crash which made cd/dvd creator to crash..i changed the RAM..now everthying is fine...thanks for your help
