Description Alex 2007-02-13 21:20:07 UTC
The new style to have a control center application is extremely annoying. It adds more clicks to getting to your location. Instead of this, either implement Vista's style where the caplets display in the application, and have breacrumb navigation or something - Or do the mac OSX style -, or revert back to the gnome-menus style.

It's just too much to get to a single location. Yes it's one click, but it's one click that shouldn't be required.

Adding a ton of bugs for the same issues over and over is not going to improve the current situation. Please focus on one bug.

It seems this bugreport isn't a real duplicate of bug #398970 (named "Issues with the new control center"). Bug #398970 is sort of "meta-bug", it isn't focused about one problem (issue), for example about keeping the system/preferences hierarchical submenus in gnome-menu bar (like in bug this bugreport), so why don't use separate bugreport for one of many issues, mentioned in bug #398970?
