Steps to reproduce:
Opening an SVG document from within Nautilus.


Stack trace:
I was unable to produce a stack trace as my machine slowed to an unusable crawl -- EOG had misallocated 80% of my system memory.

Other information:
I am running Ubuntu 6.10 on an Intel-based machine.
