This could be difficult given the limitations of librpm. There's a FIXME about
this.

A few things have changed in this component.  It seems to work fine in redhat
6.2 now.  I think part of the motivation for this bug was by passing the weird
fdOpen() api in librpm and using gnome-vfs instead.

Currently the rpm view can only handle local files.  It would be nice if it had
support for viewing remote rpms somehow.

one possibility: download the first 512 bytes or so via gnome-vfs, then stick it
into a pipe and import the pipe's read fd into librpm's bogus-fd, and let it
read the header that way.  rpm headers tend to be 256 bytes or less.
