Did you try to use the same name as an exiting profile when doing this?

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!

No, it was a different name, however the name was "Default". The profile I was basing my new Default profile on was called "Center Screen". Perhaps it didn't like me trying to create a profile named "Default"...

I'll have to look into finding debug packages for Dropline Gnome, however I was able to reliably reproduce the crash with this procedure:

1. Right-click on terminal context menu->Edit Current Profile
2. Change the name from Default to something else
3. From the menubar, Edit->Profiles
4. Click New, name it Default, and base it on the profile you just renamed
