We must have this at some point, but I think we can ship 1.0 without it. On the
other hand, if gnome-vfs support for metadata gets added by Ian McKellar, then
this will be taken care of.

Moving this to 1.1.x because the GNOME 2 timeframe is the time to
either do this or decide not to and close the bug.
