GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 40141
rubber-band selection in the list view
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Doing this implies making the list view much more like the icon view, and probably making it share much of the code. This work altogether is what makes it a big job.If we don't do this, we should revert to using double-click instead of single-click in the list view, so it's more like a ------- Additional Comments From sullivan@eazel.com 2000-03-10 08:49:40 ---- This probably requires replacing the CList in List View with shared code from icon view. ------- Additional Comments From sullivan@eazel.com 2000-03-31 17:13:43 ---- We decided to postpone making list view share much more of the UI and code from icon view until post-1.0. For 1.0, list view will behave quite differently than icon view, including not activating on single-click. ------- Additional Comments From sullivan@eazel.com 2000-09-08 15:29:57 ---- Setting all bugs to P6 to start official bug-prioritization plan. I already made the list view use proper item hit testing which is needed to make this work properly, so that one can start a rubber-band drag without clicking on an item. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-09-09 20:36 -------
Changing to "old" target milestone for all bugs laying around with no milestone set.
basically this will only happen when/if gtk treeview has rubberbanding so just marking it as a dupe of that bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 80127 ***
