Description Unknown User 2001-09-10 00:36:16 UTC
Doing this implies making the list view much more like the icon view, and probably making it share much of the code. This work altogether is what makes it a big job.If we don't do this, we should revert to using double-click instead of single-click in the list view, so it's more like a

This probably requires replacing the CList in List View with shared code from
icon view.

We decided to postpone making list view share much more of the UI and code from
icon view until post-1.0. For 1.0, list view will behave quite differently than
icon view, including not activating on single-click.

Setting all bugs to P6 to start official bug-prioritization plan. Please don't
set the priority to anything other than P6 unless you've got the gold seal of
approval for doing so.

Reusing the same code as the icon view would be better but this could be done in
the existing list view code pretty easily -- all we need to do is have the
draw_cell call render the selection too and then add smart invalidating as the
selection is being dragged. I already made the list view use proper item hit
testing which is needed to make this work properly, so that one can start a
rubber-band drag without clicking on an item.

Changing to "old" target milestone for all bugs laying around with no milestone set.

basically this will only happen when/if gtk treeview has rubberbanding
so just marking it as a dupe of that bug.
