After installing packages such as dbus or audiofile (both ot the come from tar.gz packages) I tried to recompile them without success:

henrique@portatil ~/svn/gnome2/jhbuild $ jhbuild buildone audiofile
*** success *** [1/1]

If I delete the downloaded package and the uncompressed directory, the behaviour is the same.
