Description Francijn Brouwer 2007-01-20 14:45:27 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Nautilus sorts short numbers before longer numbers,
even if they should be after.
Example:
060101.jpg
060102.jpg
05010203.jpg
05010204.jpg
06010304.jpg

Steps to reproduce:
1. By making files with names like these and sorting them.
2.
3.

Actual results:
Nautilus will sort the shorter numbers before the longer, instead of sorting the 6 after the 5.

Expected results:
I suggest sorting characters one by one, with the effect that 05 will always come before 06.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.
