Description Praveen A 2007-01-18 05:40:46 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #357790 +++
The patch in the above bug broke the existing fonts. I have submited a patch at that bug to fix this. The refered patch was to correct rendering for a new-lipi font and that broke the widely used old lipi fonts. Please bring back to the state before that patch.

Also if you check these patch were adding exceptions and that is not required in malayalam (with old lipi). Also one of the changes even introduced a severe security vulnerability of dual encoding, different data and same rendering. consonent+RA and consonent+RRA shows the same rendering where as only consonant+RA is accepted one. Please re-open the old bug.
