GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 397741
crash in Archive Manager: I was trying to extract ...
Last modified: 2007-01-18 13:38:31 UTC
Version: 2.16.1 What were you doing when the application crashed? I was trying to extract a file using file-roller, but the "Extract" dialog window is not rendering correctly. There is no widget displaying for one to type the path to extract the files to, and when I clicked extract, it crashed. I am having a similar problem involving the alt-f2 shortcut not showing the box. Although I am not an expert, I might guess that the problem is not in the software, but in the gui toolkit it relies on? This problem only started recently after experimenting with some desktop environments, then switching back to GNOME.
