GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 397117
glib 2.12.8 has broken the gtimer ABI..
Last modified: 2007-01-16 12:29:53 UTC
Steps to reproduce: 1. Upgraded from glib 2.12.7 to 2.12.8. 2. Just run 'evince', no pdf file required. 3. It crashes in the start up. Stack trace: % gdb evince (gdb) r Starting program: /usr/local/bin/evince warning: Unable to get location for thread creation breakpoint: generic error [New LWP 100138] [New Thread 0x80b5000 (LWP 100138)] Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

Other information: I have rebuild Evince and it solves the crash problem. Joe Marcus Clarke is suggesting that glib 2.12.8 has broken the gtimer ABI.
