0.96 font sizes more similar between win32 and linux, BUT ...

One interesting side-effect of the new text handling in 0.96-pre1 (at least I think it is related) is that nowadays the text size on linux almost fits that of dia/win32. At least the deviation is almost negligible in contrast to what it formerly was (about factor 0.7 off). Although having the same size is a worthwhile goal this looks like a regression for the diagrams produced on Linux. I'm not sure if it is acceptable. A diagram to visualize the effect follows.
Created attachment 80246 [details] diagram to compare impact of different font sizes The diagram is a variation of dia-core.dia from SVN. It includes layers created with different versions of Dia on different platforms. These layers are created by the PyDia plug-in bbox.py (also available in SVN, but not installed. So to use it you either need to copy it or check from app/run_dia.sh) The color of the boxes in the layers are changed by group_props.py to keep the sizes intact. Please don't use the group change work-around for the color change. Also remember to move all object and ctrl^Z to get updated bounding boxes before running the script.
apparently noone really cared (no dupes?!), resolving obsolete
