Description Shaun McCance 2007-01-12 19:34:40 UTC
If you try to run gnome-autogen.sh in a directory that contains a NO-AUTO-GEN file, it fails. NO-AUTO-GEN files are useful for keeping test or sample build setups in SVN without having them configured when the main module is built. Unfortunately, this problem makes it difficult to build those directories alone.

gnome-autogen.sh should refuse to exclue the directory that contains the autogen.sh script that was run. Note that, due to the fix for #377175, there are now at least two places where this change must be made.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all
old bug reports and feature requests in GNOME Bugzilla which have not seen
updates for a long time.

If you still use gnome-common and if you still see this bug in a recent and currently supported version, then please feel free to report it at
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-common/-/issues/

Thank you for creating this report and we are sorry it could not be implemented
(volunteer workforce and time is quite limited).
