Could you please answer the questions in the other report in order to help the developers? Which version of gtk+ are you using? Did you see messages on the terminal when gedit crashed? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 364329 ***
How can I query the gtk+ version used? I don't remember any messages, but that might just be because I didn't know to look for them ...
