What were you doing when the application crashed?
I don't even know what crashed, desktop 1 = synaptic update active and running, desktop 2 = movie player active and running, desktop 3 Volume control switching devices, I have a dell xps m1210 and my 2 front headphone jacks show 2 audio devices
