GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 392763

Last modified: 2007-01-06 12:33:48 UTC
Version: 2.16.1 What were you doing when the application crashed? Browsing big pictures (~2MB photos). After I pressed PgUp/PgDn a few times in rapid succession, Eye of Gnome froze. Maybe I just wasn't patient enough, but all the previous photos loaded in ~5 seconds and I waited ~30 seconds before I killed EOG. Does anyone ever read these reports anyway? I wonder how many people actually send them. Gnome rocks! Thank you! Hi Ján, Yes, as you can see we read the reports and try to give you feedback on them. Many people send them and you should too. :) Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 354106 ***
Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know this went right into the bugzilla with "critical" severity :) I actually reported a few bugs in the past (to KDE and Sylpheed-claws bugzillas) and was impressed by how fast they were answered and eventually resolved! I know it's probably unappropriate to write such stuff here, but I just wanted to apologize for the previous unappropriate stuff I've written :)
