Evolution Mail: I'm not sure, but when I...
Last modified: 2008-07-28 07:05:07 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed? I'm not sure, but when I click on a particular spam message, Evolution states "Formatting message", which it seems to do for a long long time (10's of minutes), the CPU load is maxed at 100%, and Evolution although appearing to work, loses messages - like the details of this bug i was compiling for you. The error message in a small window is "Internal error, unknown error 'mail:async-error' requested" I am using Evolution 2.8.1 on Ubuntu edgy. I'll send the problem message as soon as i find out where! (Can't attach it in bug buddy) Distribution: Ubuntu 6.10 (edgy) Gnome Release: 2.16.1 2006-10-02 (Ubuntu) BugBuddy Version: 2.16.0
Created attachment 79170 [details] The email containing spam emails that caused the problem Here is the attachment that caused the problem... Oh, by the way, i am using IMAP for my email
sounds a bit like bug 271295
I tried the sample mail in 2.22.2 and it worked fine. It took approx 7 seconds to display message content. Can you please try, thanks in advance.
