Hello,

Can you add a pop up that when we connect for the first time (and add a checkbox "Show each time") who say us "You must Unmount your external hard-drive, memory card, etc... before unplugged or turn off it. And can you add a button in Nautilus who appear only when we are exploring such device to unmount it.
In the same way, can you add an icon (or give the possibility to add it) like update-notifier when one or more external device are added. So we just have to click on it and click on eject.
The popup said first, can be just an yellow "tooltip" like :
"External hard drive plugged, don't forget to eject it after use by clicking here"

Thanks you
XioNoX

Or you could have a border thingy in the nautilus window like the "CD/DVD Maker" has.

"Folder for cd/dvd-maker [Write to disc]"

And when you browse removable media you could have:

"Folder for Your Drive 40GB [Eject/Unmount]"

Just my 0.2SEK. :o)

Closing this as a duplicate of bug #115763, as basically it's the same request.
