bug-buddy says it doesn't recognize this application, and I'm too new to Linux to know what to do about that.

I have just added Bluefish to my computer but I also can't get it to work as in this post. It will also crash when I try and view my work in the browser. I get them same message.
Comment 2 Daniel Leidert 2006-12-27 20:41:05 UTC
Just create ~/.bluefish manually. We fixed this bug with version 1.0.7 (sorry, our website lacks behind a bit), which has already been released. If you are using Ubuntu, refer to https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/bluefish/+bug/64016 and ask their developers for a package update.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.
