Can you please attach an example DVI file for this?

I have a similar problem in Bug #386005 with http://files.myopera.com/pacho/files/informe2.dvi

I'm not able to open that file at all with evince 0.8.1 and poppler 0.5.4 on Ubuntu Feisty. Evince gives me "DVI document has incorrect format". But confirming this because of the comments in bug 386005.
Comment 4 Pacho Ramos 2007-12-06 12:10:11 UTC
Still valid with 2.20
