Description jwoods 2001-01-27 17:34:11 UTC
Package: gnumeric
Version: 0.61
Severity:

>Synopsis: crashed on csv file import
>Class: sw-bug
System: redhat 7.0 (with necessary Rawhide updates from rpmfind.net to run gnumeric 0.61)

>Description:
Imported a .csv file with more than 20 fields and 1250 rows. Fields contained a variety of datatypes, including numeric, character, date, and NULLs (I can provide a scrubbed copy of the data if necessary).

>How-To-Repeat:
Selected File, import, located file with browser. Indicated that file was text, separated, import all rows. Selected comma as only delimiter, and unselected "adjacent text indicators escaped". Pressed finish, and gnumeric blew up.

I was not able to reproduce the crash with the included sample file,
maybe you could give us a 'backtrace' (with gdb) of the crash? That
would be very helpful.

Thanks.
