similar to bug 311682 Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance! can you please install the glib and camel debug packages?
Here is the bug report with evolution and glib build with debug info. I use gentoo and I do not know how to compile ocaml with debug. If this info is still not very helpfull I will look into compiling ocaml with debug also... I am sorry, we are still missing all debug symbols. a trace with debug symbols has (lots of) information in between the parenthesis ().
Hello again, Sorry for last comment, debug symbols were stripped... This is a back trace with evolution and evolution-data-server with debug. The problem seems to be in "Thread 5 (Thread -1339311200 (LWP 16001))", #10 0xb6f9169b in camel_key_table_set_flags (ki=0x881aae4, keyid=7168, flags=1, set=3069846655) at camel-partition-table.c:830 There were some email addresses in the trace, I replaced the addresses charachters with an 'x' (keeping the number of charachters). Please tell me if this gives you a hint about what is happenning, or what other information do you need.
