Description hone02 2006-12-15 05:13:08 UTC
Version: 2.16.1

What were you doing when the application crashed?
When I login now, my gnome-panel (or I think it's gnome-panel from the error) keeps crashing. I don't know why/how to fix. I know the last dist-upgrade I did updated avahi-daemon and associated libs and kernel-2.6.17-10-generic. Here's the log that bug buddy gives me:

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!

looks a lot like bug #358044 - which in turn looks likely a duplicate of bug #363437.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

you should try and update to the latest gtk+.
