crash in CD/DVD Creator: firefox open, mp3 player...

What were you doing when the application crashed? firefox open, mp3 player conneced "dick smith electronics" cheap one. i noticed before that when this is plugged in frequently the whole sysem crashes. also i was trying to play a wmv file but totem does not have the right pugin.
