Description Paul 2006-12-14 09:11:17 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed?
Retention of password to access mail accounts.
1. If "save password" is ticked then password is not saved!
2. If "save password" is not ticked then password is saved for session only.
3. Passwords are always prompted for when starting Evolution, ticked or otherwise.

This is on a clean install of Suse 10.2 running KDE as desktop.
Had similar problem on earlier setup with Suse 10.0 upgrading to 10.2.
Go figure?

Thank you
