Description pieter 2006-12-14 08:07:34 UTC
If you try to copy and paste a file and your nautilus is in list view mode, you can't right click the current folder to paste the file. If you right click a folder in the current folder, it grants you the "Paste into Folder" option. My suggention is to add a "Paste into this folder"/"Paste here" option which will allow you to paste the file into the current folder. This bug does not excist in Icon View mode since there is whitespace to paste the file.

Thanks a mil !

This bug is still there in 2.18.0.1. I think it is the same like #410766.

I agree with the original poster. A further suggestion.

In Windows, in detail view there is some white space at the bottom of list into which you can paste.

In Nautilus there is no such space.
