What were you doing when the application crashed? Rhythmbox had been running over ssh for a period of time (15 min-30min) from server to my laptop on a LAN. Then it suddenly stops. I start it over again, but all I get is this bug-buddy message. Distribution: Ubuntu 6.10 (edgy) Gnome Release: 2.16.1 2006-10-02 (Ubuntu) BugBuddy Version: 2.16.0 Memory status: size: 78643200 vsize: 0 resident: 78643200 share: 0 rss: 25583616 rss_rlim: 0 CPU usage: start_time: 1165846037 rtime: 0 utime: 169 stime: 0 cutime:154 cstime: 0 timeout: 15 it_real_value: 0 frequency: 9 Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/rhythmbox' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1". Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance! This could be a duplicate of bug #358855 or bug #352972 but the stack traces don't match that well.

In that case, you should attach the stacktrace to the existing bug, not open a new one. Or open a new one and close this one as a duplicate. Since this one is really a duplicate of bug #384717 and that bug is in, in turn, a duplicate of bug #358855. I will close this bug as a duplicate of bug #358855. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 358855 ***
