Unable to type a ~ in the URL bar.

I'm currently unable to write a ~ in the URL bar. I have to copy-paste it from somewere else. Note that it works ok on any other entry. Here is my locale set if someone bothers: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 LANGUAGE=en_GB.UTF-8 LC_CTYPE="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_NUMERIC="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_TIME="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_COLLATE="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_MONETARY="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_MESSAGES="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_PAPER="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_NAME="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_ADDRESS="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_TELEPHONE="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_MEASUREMENT="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_GB.UTF-8" LC_ALL=
Gtk problem, resolved but still no new release. I reported the original bug but I cant remember the number and im too lazy to search for it.
