Description antti karhu 2006-12-08 09:00:44 UTC
When there is a document open in Gimp, the Gimp is minimized and stacket on Taskbar group, and Close Group is selected from Task Bar, the Gimp won't close. The document remains open, but the document window cannot be restored or maximized, and therefore the Save/Dontsave/Exit dialog cannot be answered. After that, the document is lost because the program must be shut down from Task Manager.

I really suggest modal user interface for Windows version as a default...

There have been changes to this, IIRC. Please try 2.2.13 and report back.

I don't think that we need more info. This is a known bug that still needs to be fixed in GIMP or in GTK+ for Windows. This would need more support from Windows developers, if possible.
