How to reproduce:

Fresh Install of Ubuntu 6.10:

Right click on the MP3 file
Change the default app to open .mp3 files to rhythmbox
Double click on the file.
Bang!

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

You can fix this by running gnome-network-preferences.
