Steps to reproduce:
1. sort Library by artist
2. switch to playlist
3. go back to full Library

have aproximately 8000 songs in my library which may account for the seemingly endless time, never allowed it to complete but let it sit for ~10min without finishing.  however when switching to a playlist with ~1000, it does finish but still takes quite a long time.

This was fixed in CVS last night.  Look for a new release soon.
