This problem looks like a bug in xine-lib. Please follow the instructions at
http://www.gnome.org/projects/totem/#bugs to gather a useful backtrace and file
a bug with xine-lib directly.
Also, this particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.
