I have 12 f-keys on top of my keyboard that mostly just sit there unused.

It would save me a lot of time if I could assign these as hot keys for
tags of my choice.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

A basic patch for it already exists, but it could use some more work.  Feel free to join in.
