Description jean-christophe.leborgne 2006-12-03 19:17:37 UTC
Version: 2.16.0

What were you doing when the application crashed?
The system was just started.
I was launching system -> preferences -> sound

I must precise that the integrated sound card works on my laptop (Fujitsu-Siemens P7010). I was launching this tool because I was expecting to see/setup my external sound card (QuataFire 610).

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!
Comment 2 jean-christophe.leborgne 2006-12-06 02:30:44 UTC
At first, I installed "control-center-debuginfo-2.16.0-9.fc6.i386.rpm" which
is currently available on download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora. I didn't get
a useful stack trace with it because it doesn't match my current version of
"control-center" ("control-center-2.16.0-11.fc6").

Then I downloaded "ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/fedora/core/updates/testing/6/i386/
debug/control-center-debuginfo-2.16.0-11.fc6.i386.rpm" and I installed it.

Finaly, I got the following "bug buddy" report (let me know if it is enough) :
