In addition to the popup to the user when connecting (which vino handles very nicely) I understand it is required by Norwegian law to also have a visual indication as long as the remote user is connected (e.g. our helpdesk).

This indicator has been mentioned in the documentation for some time, but doesn't seem to be implemented yet. As it is a legal requirement in order to actually enable vino from a central policy (as opposed to letting the user enable vino him/her self) I hope it can get some priority...
