Description Christopher Backhouse 2006-11-30 12:49:49 UTC
Please describe the problem:
see summary

Steps to reproduce:
1. Make sure you have eg the power management icon in your notification area
2. pkill panel

Actual results:
Panel comes back but the power icon is in a separate floating window

Expected results:
Notification icons come back in the notification area when it reappears

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
Strangely this doesn't seem to affect gaim's tray icon, but it did affect all my others

Here only gnome-power-manager is affected.
gaim, lifera and rhythmbox are fine, so I would rather open bugs on the ones that do not attach back.
