GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 380686
Won't rebuild a package even if forced to
Last modified: 2007-01-24 17:50:58 UTC
The story for this bug: http://live.gnome.org/JhbuildIssues/ekiga#head-09c0b943c95587bd2b490aa7f07f949329f3b84f pwlib was not built with ldap support. I installed the ldap devel package. Using jhbuild buildone -ac pwlib will exit imediately with the "success" message. It's impossible to force to rebuild by jhbuild invocation. The only way is to edit the $TARGET/share/jhbuild/packagedb.xml file and remove the line telling that pwlib was once installed. This is quite annoying and unintutive for the newcommer. Set to major because of the fact that the workaround is easy, but unobvious, and even deleting the pwlib compilation tre and archive, jhbuild will still refuse to build it again.
