GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 378708
crash in Evolution: Viewing an e-mail with p...
Last modified: 2006-12-14 03:23:32 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed? Viewing an e-mail with probably 10 JPG attachments. I clicked on each of them in turn selecting the View Inline option. When I got to the last image and clicked View Inline I got this error box. The Options box with the View Inline option still highlighted is still visible, and while it's not functional, I still get the magnifying glass when I mouse over the last picture. Don't know how useful that is to you, but I hope it helps. Thanks for the bug report. Unfortunately, that stack trace is not very useful in determining the cause of the crash. Could you please install some debugging packages [1] and reproduce the crash, if possible? Once bug-buddy pops up, you can find the stacktrace in the "details", now containing way more information. Please copy that stacktrace and paste it as a comment here. Thanks! [1] debugging packages for evolution, evolution-data-server and gtkhtml, plus debugging packages for some basic GNOME libs. More details can be found here: http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces/DistroSpecificInstructions
Added a bunch of the debugging packages and bug-buddy now produces the following. Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help.
