GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 378489
crash in Keyboard: trying to set the keyboa...
Last modified: 2006-11-23 20:20:30 UTC
Version: 2.16.0 What were you doing when the application crashed? trying to set the keyboard repeat rate from the gnome control panel. i made a new user account so there was no chance of accidentally having an old gnome config file around. amazing that in 2007, we're still debugging utilities to set basic keyboard parameters. by the way, the keyboard repeat works normally outside of X windows but somehow gnome/X defeats this setting. problems like this are why Linux is dreaming about dominating the desktop. Microsoft would never release a major O/S with this feature being broken.
