GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 377809
crash in Deskbar: Not really sure. I think...
Last modified: 2006-11-21 19:33:27 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed? Not really sure. I think I hit alt-tab after entering preferences. Yes, it's deterministic (for my install anyway, I want to try it on my machine at home later tonight). If you go into preferences, view tab, change a keyboard shortcut to something (I set mine to alt-space), then alt-tab to another window (I used gnome-terminal, but it seems to work with all windows). And the gnome window comes up immediately (you can leave alt-tab held down). Other notable facts: Ubuntu edgy/6.10, x86 Using nvidia restricted driver in xorg.
