Justin: SUBMITTING ONCE IS SUFFICIENT FOR THE TIME BEING. what is the output of nautilus in the console?
justin, can you answer christian's question, please?
sorry about all that guys. I don't know what the output of the console was, sorry. I have not used nautilous since because it keeps happening. I could try to reproduce it later on, I'll get back to you. Justin
Thank you for your efforts, Justin.

last trace differs from the original one (but might be another result of a similar bug). The inital trace is good, confirming report.
ok I was able to reproduce the crash by hitting CTRL-L in nautilus and then entering the location x-nautilus-desktop:///justin87.volume ** ERROR **: file nautilus-file.c: line 207 (nautilus_file_new_from_relative_uri): should not be reached aborting...

This bug does not happen with nautilus 2.17.2 (development version) It tells me there that it is an invalid location
