Please describe the problem:
I have F-Spot and a Samba share network access, but I cannot access this folder because F-Spot says "it's not on a local drive".

what do you mean by access? The edit functions may be disabled, but is anything else?

I have my photos in a SMB share that I would like to access with my F-Spot. How can I access that Folder?

I think this is the problem described.
