Description Ralph Dicks 2006-11-18 13:44:54 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When closing using the X button (file-exit seems to work fine and I know it is the proper method) I get a message box telling me that Evolution closed unexpectedly and I can Restart, Close or Bug track

Steps to reproduce:
1. close with the X button
2.
3.

Actual results:
Message box pops up informing me Evolution closed unexpectedly. I can then Restart, Close, Bug trace

Expected results:
The application should just close shop.

Does this happen every time?
So far it has

Other information:
I don't think this is a major earth shattering bug. Following is the trace data from the bug tracker.

Mime-Version: 1.0

Distribution: Ubuntu 6.06 (dapper)
Package: Evolution
Severity: minor
Version: GNOME2.14.3 2.6.x
Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu
Synopsis: Unexpected program stoppage message
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Miscellaneous
Bugzilla-Version: 2.6.x
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.14.1)
Description:
Description of the crash:
When using the "X" button in the upper right of the window, Evolution
pops up a message stating that an unexpected termination of program has
occured. I am offered to ignore it, relaunch the program or report it.
It closes out fine when doing the file-exit method of closing
evolution.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. use the X button to close the application.
2.
3.

Expected Results: It should close but it tells me it closed
unexpectedly.

How often does this happen? every time I close it that way.

Additional Information: Doesn't seem to harm anything.
