What were you doing when the application crashed?
I replicated the bug in the Evolution help function.  Go to Evolution, select Help, select Contents, type cc: into the Search field and press enter.  This is the same bug as seen in http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=375137
