Description Mike Hommey 2006-11-12 14:50:35 UTC
Preliminary note: I haven't tested if reading wav files locally would work.

Setup: I have a mt-daapd server on the LAN, that is used by my wife's iTunes and my rhythmbox to get to our music. Since iTunes is a dumbass and can't properly use the ogg quicktime components to decode ogg from DAAP shares, I had to enable the transcoding of ogg files to wav in mt-daapd, which means that from DAAP client POV, the server is full of MP3 and WAV files.

Playing these DAAP WAV streams fail with a playback error: HTTP error: internal error.
