What were you doing when the application crashed?
Same thing, but with the Debug-Symbols installed. The theme is Amaranth.

I'm switching to the default-theme right now and see, what happens...

Seems to work just fine with the UBUNTU-default-theme installed.... That's about all, I can do for you, I guess.... :(

Switched back to the Amaranth-theme and Rhythmbox still works with the songs, I successfully added under the default-theme....

This is a duplicate of bug 343443, which might be a bug in the smooth GTK engine.
