to listen to a WebCast, TOTEM returned:

Totem could not play 'rtsp://avs2.senate.gov/judiciary'.

Internal GStreamer error: negotiation problem.  Please file a bug at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=GStreamer .

This computer has both W32Codecs as well as A-V Codecs installed via Automatix and/or EasyUbuntu.

This problem has dogged this user of Ubuntu-Linux from: Hoary to Breezy to Dapper.
